A Team 3 years running BUIHA League Cup Champions

Nottingham Mavericks A’s returned to Sheffield after a sour defeat to Sheffield Bears in the BUIHA Championships Final, to win by a small margin of 1-0. Anthony D’Aversa with the only goal with an easy snap shot after a thunderous slap shot from Colm Cannon, which the Net Minder was unable to control. Shutouts by both Michael Snook and Tom Devey kept the Mavericks in the game at the other end of the ice. Overall a magnificent effort by all the players, however the outstanding performance of the Bears Net Minder kept the score line close right unitl the final wristle, which earn him Man of the Match, aslo Lee Haywood returning to the team earned himself Man of the Match for the Mavericks.
