Alot of people have been asking about my phone wallpaper so I decided to put it up on here so you can download it yourself.

Reminder to all C team and new players that Sutton beginner skating session start this Wednesday 12th November.

 Leave from the Sports Centre on University Park Campus at 13.10hrs.

 You will need with you your skates, stick and gloves. You may hire skates, borrow or buy a stick. Sticks to lend are very limited. If you do not have hockey gloves, just wear plain ones. 

 Session costs £10 – includes 1hr 30mins on the ice and transport. 

 If you are not already a member of the club, you must join so that you are insured by the second session which you attend.

 Please have a pen handy to fill out club forms once you return to the sports centre.

 The aim of the Sutton sessions is initially to focus on skating technique. In the New Year, full kit will be required to attend sessions.

The B team has a home game on Friday 14th Nov and we need all the support we can get as we are playing our local rivals Sheffield. After beating them in the play-off finals last season they are sure to be looking for revenge and we can’t afford to loose!

For those planning to attend the Sutton skating sessions, please take note that the session tomorrow (5th Nov) has been cancelled.

Next weeks session should go ahead as planned. A quick reminder that the bus is scheduled to leave the Sports Centre on University Park Campus at 13.10hrs on the Wednesday and due to return at around 17.00hrs. If you are unsure where the Sports Centre is or how to get there, I am sure that the internet is a useful tool for helping with this.

Skates can be hired out at the rink; however, there are a limited number of sticks that can be borrowed for the session. Sticks will be available to buy at the Sports Centre before we leave at only £20 each (including free roll of stick tape). If you have hockey gloves, bring these along too. Cost is £10 per session.

For all current team members: If you are not aware already, all players must have black socks for games. If you need to purchase a pair they are sold at the Sports Centre; woollen £10 or tea-bag £5.

The bus is leaving the sports center at 8PM tonight (3rd Nov) so please be there nice and early so that you can get the back seat!
